CEDAR FORT GENERAL ELECTION
OFFICIAL FINAL RESULTS - DELAYED November 10, 2017 – 9:10 PM This UPDATE 3 is sent to inform the Citizens of Cedar Fort that a letter was delivered to the Town Recorder today by a sheriff’s deputy (not an official delivery). Candidate Kelly Berry stated her intent to protest the results of the general election to the Lt. Governor (see attached letter). The Town does not have any information at this time about the potential time delay and/or if the Lt. Governor will accept the request. We will be contacting the Lt. Governor’s office to ascertain any details or information on this request. We believe that the election was held properly and in accordance with State Code and election rules, but will await any word or ruling from the Lt. Governor’s office before the official Election Canvas is posted. NOTE: Citizens are not required to divulge any information about their SECRET BALLOT vote. Anyone asking for such information about your personal vote is acting inappropriately.
