celebrations ENGAGEMENT ENGAGEM Janey & Jim Janey Kingman of York, PA and Jim Howell of Lock Haven, PA, are very happy to announce their engagement. Janey is the daughter of William and Holly Kingman of York. She is a 2001 graduate of Central York High School and a 2005 graduate of Juniata College with a Bachelor’s Degree. Janey is a 4th grade teacher at Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester, VA.
Sarah & Tyler Mr. and Mrs. Dean Innerst of Red Lion, PA, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Innerst, to Tyler Klinefelter, son of Brian Klinefelter of Yoe, PA and Terri Klinefelter of Red Lion, PA.
Jim is the son of Mike and Linda Howell of Lock Haven. He is a 2001 graduate of Central Mountain High School, a 2005 graduate of Seton Hill University with a Bachelor’s Degree and a 2007 graduate of Clarion University with a Master’s Degree. Jim is a Librarian with Loudon County Public Schools in Leesburg, VA.
The couple met at their alma mater, Red Lion Area High School, in Red Lion, PA. The future bride recently received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science and received a minor in Agribusiness. She is employed at AgChoice Farm Credit as a Loan Specialist. Her fiancé graduated from Red Lion Area High School and is employed at Dentsply.
Janey and Jim met while teaching in Westmoreland County, VA.
A September 2014 wedding is planned at Codorus Church of the Brethren.
They will be married in June at Cameron Estate Inn.
ANNIVERSARY Nicole & David James and Nanette Geiman of New Freedom, PA, are very happy to announce the engagement of their son, David Bradley Geiman to Nicole Katherine Humbert. Nicole, of Basking Ridge, NJ, is the daughter of Xavier Paul Humbert and the late Maria Humbert. She graduated from Ridge High School in 2004 and Bucknell University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Nicole is a Senior Consultant with Deloitte Consulting. David is a 2004 graduate of Susquehannock High School, a 2008 graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a 2013 graduate of Georgetown University with a Master’s of Business Administration. David is an Associate in the Investment and Corporate Banking Division at Bank of Montreal. Nicole and David met at a Fraternity and Sorority event at Bucknell University. David proposed to Nicole on November 17, 2012 at Weaverton Point which is the summit of a 10 mile hike through Harper’s Ferry.
Helen & Charles Charles and Helen Stein celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary on January 24th 2014. They began their long journey by traveling to Elkton, Maryland to be married by Reverend Edwan Minor. Charles is the son of the late Curvin and Edith Stein. He is a retired co-owner of R.C. Shuchart Inc. Helen is the daughter of the late Edgar and Ima Pifer and is retired from Warner’s Dairy. Charles and Helen are long time members of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Freedom. They have four children, a daughter Gretchen who resides in Maryland and three sons , James, Max and David who live in California. They have six grandchildren and six great children. A great - great grandchild was added within the past year.
Nicole and David will be married May 16, 2014.
