NIA Pancake Feed at Central Park Community Center - 9 to 11 am on 3rd Saturday of the month south entrance SW door The money we raise goes to the community center for after school programs. NIA meeting every 3rd Thur. of the month at Central Park Community Center at 1534 SW Clay 6:30 pm South Entrance SW Door. NIA is Free to all, come and join us. You will find out what is going on in our neighborhood, for example the streets and sidewalks overlay for 2018, in addition to grants the NIA can apply for to use for improvements in our area.

Election of Officers was held. No one new stepped forward to run for office like we had hoped. President: Don Perkins VP: Robert Lewis Treasurer: Nancy Artzer-May Secretary: Eric Tyszko

Agenda: This is a repeat from last month: Our NIA applied for a grant from the City to purchase a stove for the Community Center’s kitchen and we were awarded the grant. We have a new Community Officer, his name is Derek Parrett, he will be attending our meetings each month. Derek can be reached by e-mail dparrett@topeka,org He tells us he will be with us for the next couple of years. Councilwomen Karen Hiller keeps us informed what is on going with the City. See you in February!
