Prayer Connection
BENEVOLENT OFFERING: Next Sunday, February 4th, our Benevolent Offering will be designated to a special project. The money received will go to help those affected by the Volcano in the Philippines. This volcano is about 14 km. from the Buizas’ home-town, and they will be able to take this relief money with them when they travel there later in February on their annual Medical Mission.
If you have a prayer request, please fill out the Prayer Connection card and drop it into the offering plate. We want to pray for you.
MENS’ BIBLE STUDY: A study of Psalm 119. We meet tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. at the Penner’s home, then meet every second Monday after that.
Coffee & Fellowship
CALVARY KIDS: Praise God that we have filled several of our needs for teachers/helpers in Calvary Kids. We are still in need to 2 people, a kids’ worship leader and a Bible lesson teacher. If you are able to help out in either of these roles, please contact Melissa Davies.
Following the service, everyone is invited to join us for coffee and fellowship in the Connections Corner (to the right of the sanctuary).
Adult Bible Study This class is our Sunday morning adult education class that runs from September to May from 9:30—10:15 am, meeting in the boardroom downstairs. All are welcome to join this study. Current Study: 1 Thessalonians, led by Audrey Harder
Calvary KIDS We offer care for children from birth through 24 months and classes for two-year-olds through grade 5 during the service. Children JK through grade 5 come into the morning service and are dismissed to Calvary Kids at approx. 10:45. Parents please sign your child(ren) in BEFORE the service begins at the sign in area in the foyer. See a member of the welcome team for directions.
DONATION RECEIPTS: Receipts for 2017 charitable donations are in your mailboxes. If you have any questions about your receipt, please contact Bill Marr or Krista Bain.
Congregational Lunch and Annual Business Meeting: Sunday, February 18 Following the morning service. Chili & Soup Lunch There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the Connections Corner.
