Riverdale Mikveh Update: Shavuot Schedule: Over the three-day chag, Friday night– Sunday night (June 10-12): The Mikveh will be open all three nights from 8:45-9:05. No appointment necessary. Monday night June 13 the Mikveh will be open from 9:45-11:00pm Regular evening hours ( 8:4510:30pm ) resume Tuesday June 14 Due to construction, the Keilim Mikveh will be closed the week of June 13 and there will be no parking available in the parking lot. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Mazal Tov to Hila and Amit Stern on the Bat Mitzvah of their daughter Ori. Ori will deliver the Dvar Torah after the 9:00 AM services on Shabbat. In honor of the Bat Mitzvah, the Stern family is sponsoring the Tikkun Leil program and refreshments. Mazal Tov to Nachman and Ruth Mazurek on the birth of a granddaughter, born to their children Rabbi Menashe and Penina Mazurek. The baby will be named this shabbat at YIOZ. Next Shabbat June 18th Spring Scholar, Rabbi Yitzchak Blau Rabbi Blau will give two talks on Shabbat afternoon: 1. 7:00 PM Pre-Mincha Shiur: "Of Nursing Mothers and Double Lives: Rav Yitzchak Hutner’s Insights into Education" 2. Seudah Shlishit (8:20 PM, following Mincha at 8 PM): "Negligent Crimes, Ubiquitous Crimes and the Novelty of Crime: Aggadic Insights" Rabbi Yitzchak Blau is Rosh Yeshiva and Shana Bet Ra''m at Yeshivat Orayta. He is the author of Fresh Fruit and Vintage Wine: The Ethics and Wisdom of the Aggada and a member of Tradition's editorial board. He currently also teaches at Midreshet Lindenbaum and has previously taught at Yeshivat Hamivtar, Yeshivat Shvilei Hatorah, and the Yeshivah of Flatbush. Rabbi Blau has a BA in English Literature from YU, an MA in Medieval Jewish History from Revel, and smicha from RIETS. Rabbi Blau lives in Alon Shevut with his wife and four children.
