Charity Bibs 2017 Hudson Mohawk Roadrunners Marathon and Hannaford Half Marathon Charity Bibs - October 8, 2017 We have 1 full marathon and 9 half marathon bibs available. Please read our program guidelines and selection criteria before applying.
Charity Bib SoleMates Program Guidelines Our Charity Bib SoleMates Program is more than just a race bib. We expect our SoleMates to be champions of our organization. In return, we provide resources, support and goodies during your training. We also provide an easy-to-use online SoleMates fundraising template page which you must use as part of your fundraising efforts. We count on our SoleMates not only for their important financial support but also to help raise awareness of our organization.
Fundraising Expectations
Half Marathon Fundraising Minimum: $500 (provides healthy snacks for a whole season)
Full Marathon Fundraising Minimum: $600 (provides full scholarships for 4 girls)
SoleMates who do not raise the minimum amount will be charged for the shortfall. For example, if your minimum is $500 and you raise $400, we will charge your credit card $100 for the shortfall. Fundraising can continue up to 30 days past race day.
Charity Bib Application and Review Process To be eligible for a charity bib you must register as a Charity Bib SoleMate, describe how you will promote Girls on the Run Capital Region during your training, and agree to the guidelines of our program. Applications will be reviewed by our Charity Bib Selection Committee. Selections are based on the quality of responses and are at the discretion of the Committee. All applicants will receive notice on or before March 10, 2017. Applications will continue to be accepted as long as bib supplies last. The fee to register for a bib is $10. You will not be charged unless or until you are selected.

Registering for the Race If you are selected as one of our Charity Bib SoleMates, you will receive a special code to register for the race. This code will allow you to register even if the event has sold out. Race code will be released once you have raised at least $150.
