CHARITY FUNDRAISING SALARY SURVEY 2015
Charity Fundraising Salary Survey 2015 Introduction Welcome to our annual fundraising salary survey for fundraising professionals in the not for profit sector. This report aims to benchmark salaries across the sector, allowing employees to compare their salary against the average and giving employers a standard when budgeting for new roles. Please see the full data tables at the end of this report for detailed statistics by seniority, type, area of expertise, gender, type of contract, size and location of organisation. “Salaries have remained roughly static over the past year. There has been fierce demand for major donor and corporate fundraisers in recent years, as charities have focussed on bringing in high value donations. As these new posts have been filled, the volume of these vacancies has dropped off and there are more candidates available, resulting in less pressure on salaries. Instead, areas such as direct marketing and community fundraising, which have traditionally received lower salaries, have become candidate short this year, which could potentially begin to even out the gaps in salary between income streams.” TPP Fundraising and Development Team
