The mission of Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation is to promote the growth of tennis in Hawaii to youth, adults and special populations. This dovetails with the mission of the United States Tennis Association Hawaii Pacific Section, which is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Hawaii Pacific Section. Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, partner and the fund raising arm of the United States Tennis Association Hawaii Pacific Section. Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation is responsible for establishing the criteria and handling the selection of inductees to the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section Tennis Hall of Fame. Additionally, Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation’s Touching Lives Through Tennis program is dedicated to reaching out to the Hawaii Pacific Section tennis community through tennis and educational related programs and activities.
