Quilt is 48" x 48".
Star Points: (A) Layer 1-5" x 5" Charm and 1-5" x 5" Background square right sides together. Align the Folded Corner Clipper Ruler with the squares as shown. Trim the corner to identify the sewing line. Sew using a ¼" seam allowance corner to corner. Press open. Repeat to make 8 Half Square Triangles. ** 5"

Make 8 5" x 5" with seams
(B) Layer 2-5" x 5" Charm squares, right sides together, on each end of 1-5" x 18½" Background rectangle. Align the Folded Corner Clipper Ruler with the squares as shown. Trim the corners to identify the sewing lines. Sew using a ¼" seam allowance corner to corner as shown. Press open. Repeat to make 4 Star Tips.

Border & Binding: (cut the length of the fabric parallel to the selvage) 2-5" x 48½" strips 2-5" x 39½" strips 4-2½" x length of the fabric strips (Binding)
** If you do not have the Folded Corner Clipper Ruler: Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the 5" Background square. Layer 1-5" x 5" Charm and 1-5" x 5" Background square right sides together. Sew on the diagonal line. Trim ¼" from the sewn line. Press open.
Star Points continued: (C) Combine 1-Star Tip, 2-5" x 5" Charm squares and 2 Half Square Triangles as shown. Make 4 Star Points.

Assemble the quilt: (A) Assemble the quilt center as shown. 9½"

Star Center: Join 4-5" Charm Squares to make 1 row. Make 4 rows. Press the rows in opposite directions. Combine the rows. 5"

(B) Add the 2" x 36½" Inner Borders to the sides of the Quilt Center. Add the 2" x 39½" Inner Borders to the top and the bottom. Add the 5" x 39½" Borders to the sides of the Quilt Center. Add the 5" x 48½" Borders to the top and the bottom.
