CCHS - PETITION TO GRADUATE To Former Chattahoochee County High School Students: On March 30, 2015, Governor Nathan Deal signed House Bill 91 into law, thereby creating a new code section, O.C.G.A. § 20-2-281.1. This law became effective upon the Governor's signature. Thus, a previous student, no longer enrolled in Chattahoochee County High School and who previously failed to receive a high school diploma or was denied graduation solely for failing to achieve a passing score on one or more portions of the Georgia High School Graduation Tests or the Georgia High School Writing Test may petition the Chattahoochee County Board of Education to determine the Student’s eligibility to receive a high school diploma pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-281.1 based on the graduation requirements in effect when the Student first entered ninth grade. Submit this completed and signed form by mail to: Melissa Wilkinson, Guidance Department OR submit in person at Chattahoochee County High School (360 Hwy 26 Cusseta, GA 31805). If you are submitting a petition by mail, include a scanned/copied image of your government issued photo identification. Incomplete information may delay processing.
