QUAKER CHEWY BAR 30 SECOND BROADCAST COMMERCIAL TREATMENT BY LA DI DA FILMS Based on the winning idea After School Snack our pitch is called A Chewy Story. A young mom unpacks groceries, she’s just bought, in a kitchen. While mom's not looking a Chewy box springs to life & pops open. A Chewy bar magically jumps into her kid's lunchbox. The mom helps her son pack his bag and they leave for school. We cut to snack-time with her kid unwrapping the bar happily & enjoying it as his friend look on. Close-up on the Chewy Bar highlighting the appetite appeal and tasty ingredients. The next day, in the kitchen while getting ready for school, kid watches and laughs as several new chewy bars jump from the box into his lunchbox one after the other. The quaker man on the box winks at the kid through the magic of vfx. The young mom warmly drops off her son at school that morning. Later that day he shares the extra bars with friends as they each enjoy their own Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars.
Style: In the spirit of films like Toy Story our spot appeals to Moms and their young children through the appeal of animation mixed with the relatability of real actors and settings. We like the idea of giving the Chewy bar a personality and also making the bar a co-star of the commercial itself. The style of the cinematography will be bright, warm and authentic. The comedy that comes from the animation will add to the lighthearted tone and the wholesome fun of the Chewy Bar.
