The Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016. As in years past, we have been working with the Chicago Police Department to inform residents of street closures and traffic restrictions during the event. We appreciate you adjusting your schedule to avoid any inconvenience.

Streets in your neighborhood may be closed to traffic as more than 40,000 runners pass through the area starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing to 3:00 p.m. Please refer to the course map (opposite side of this flyer) for streets on the course that will be closed to traffic (bold line on map). A comprehensive list of street closures and their approximate reopening is available at chicagomarathon.com/streetclosures. Additionally, access to other streets in your area not directly on the course may be effected during this timeframe.

No parking will be allowed on the Marathon course. Towing of vehicles on the course will begin at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 9. Vehicles that are not removed from the street by that time will be ticketed and towed to the nearest auto pound. For inquiries about towed vehicles, call 312.744.4444.
