PRE-REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED: Available via USA Cycling closing on Saturday 3/25/2017 at 6:00p.m. Pre-registered racers will save money and get a fast track check-in on race day. Preregistration at the discounted price and check-in are available on Saturday, 3/25/2017, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the cabin. Registration on race day is 7:30-1:00. No refunds are available. USAC-MTB ANNUAL LICENSE REQUIRED FOR CAT 1 AND RANKINGS. Annual licenses for MTB are now combined with Road and are $70 ($35 for Juniors). They can be purchased at the race site, but historically this takes up to six weeks for the card to be received back. Online purchasing is immediate, and to include this race in your USAC-MTB ranking, an annual license must be purchased prior to race day. Take advantage of this elevated level race and pre-purchase a license at www.usacycling.org. One-day license is $10 for MTB races. An “Experienced One-Day Race License” can be purchased online for $25. See USA Cycling for details. The race director reserves the right to combine classes (classes with less than five riders may be incorporated into other classes). HELMETS REQUIRED. All USA Cycling rules apply to this event. Prizes: 1 Lap Races: Cat 3 (Base) earn trophies (custom wood plaques in shape of Tenn.) 2 Lap Races: Cat 2, Single Speed, and Cat 1-2 50+ will be awarded merchandise, and custom plaques to 1st - 3rd 3 Lap Races: Cat 1 and Pro earn cash; see schedule below, also custom plaques to 1st - 3rd

Kids’Race: To comply with insurance, placements will not be awarded. Participation gifts will be given. Inclement weather statement: Rain, mud or shine! We race regardless of conditions but may delay for hazardous threats. The Course: Chickasaw Trace Park is a 300 acre park operated by the Maury County Parks and Recreation Dept. and located on the banks of the Duck River and Knob Creek in Columbia, TN. The mountain bike trail was built and is maintained by the Columbia Cycling Club. This cross-country race is one, two or three laps on a 9-mile course consisting of single track (90%) and some open fields. The start is in the grass next to the park’s cabin and goes 250 yards before entering the trail next to the Convenience Center. The finish is also next to the cabin. The top-15 riders in each discipline, class, category, and age-group of this event will qualify for participation in the USA Cycling Cross-Country MTB National Championships at Snowshoe, WV, July 19-23!
