Physical child abuse is a form of child abuse that applies to physical damage to children. Physical abuse includes: hitting, punching, kicking, and even to the extent of burning, stabbing and choking.

Serious Cases — 9/23/2016— Child neglect: 14 year old girl dehydrated, emaciated, starving, and severely malnourished. She weighed roughly 48 lbs and 4’7”. — 4/9/2015— Neglect: teenage girl found starving , and malnourished with a dead infant sibling.
Statistics — 1 in 14 children are physically abused — In 2015 over 6000 children were found to be under physically abused in the U.K. — So far in 2016 over 9000 children contacted authorities about physical abuse — In 2013 about 1,520 children died from physical abuse in the United States
