chili cookoff fundraiser!! sunday, march 11th
CHILI COOKOFF FUNDRAISER!! SUNDAY, MARCH 11TH Calling all chefs! We are looking for your best chili recipes to compete in this fundraiser. All monies raised will go towards the Youth Mission Trip this summer (June 17th—23) • Looking for 10 contestants! Rules and Guidelines are available in the office • Contest is held right after service on March 11th • $3 admission (includes tasting, one full bowl, cornbread, salad and dessert) • Drop your additional donation in the bucket next to the chili that you liked best. The chili that receives the most donations is the winner!! Questions? Contact Cyndi in the office
GUIDELINES FOR CONTEST • Sign up with Cyndi in the office • Know how to make chili ☺ • Make at least 2 crock pots full so people can taste and then come back for a bowl if yours is their favorite (basically bring enough!!) • Type or write your recipe on an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper to display near your crockpot (include ALL ingredients in case of allergies) • Bring a ladle • The Youth will supply the tasting cups, spoons, bowls, cornbread, • Salad drinks and dessert. • The Youth will supply add-ins for the bowls of chili (not for the tastings) onions, cheese, sour cream and Fritos. • Chili must be ready before Worship service at 11:00am as we will begin right after. • Plugs for crockpots will be available. • Empty Jars will be placed near each participant. Guests will drop money in the jar of their favorite chili as a way to vote. The jar with the most money is the winner!!
