CHRIST OUR SHEPHERD CHURCH Dearest family, Herewith are some lists/notes from Bishop Charles Kaloki’s notes on Sunday when he talked about ‘asking and awakening’. Below is the list of the challenges in Africa that he spoke about, followed by the ‘asking points’. Then there is a very abbreviated list of his main points about what is recovered through our asking. If you were not there on Sunday (and that is a lot of you!) 1. Salvation of African people – ASK for laborers in African field – Matthew 9:37-38 2. The church in Africa to be strong and well equipped to take her position – Colosians 2:7, Ephesians 4:11-16 3. Unity of African People - Psalms 133:1-3 4. Good Leadership in African Nations Proverbs 29:2, I Timothy 2:1-4 , Proverbs 21:1 5. African resources to be used to bless the African people Deutromony 28:12 6. Raising of ASKers for Africa –Ezekiel 22:30, Psalms 106:23 7.The frustration of the Islam Agenda for Africa –Pray against the gate of Islam Matthew 16:18 8. The Next Generation to be a Godly generation – 60% of Africa population age 25 and below Acts 2:39 9. Destruction of demonic alters in Africa which have hindered the spread of the Gospel. Alters of witchcraft and demonic traditions . Eph 6:12, Daniel 10:12-13, Ephesian 1:20-21 10. Raising of Strong Christian Families in Africa –God to raise fathers. Malachi 4:6 , Ephesians 4:11-14
WHY IT IS NECESSARY TO ASK AND WHAT HAPPENS when we ASK !!! WHAT IS RECOVERED IN ASKING 1 PURPOSE OF GOD RECOVERED –Providing direction – Ministry is not about need of the people but purpose of God . Moses in Egypt first saw the need of the people and thought he could begin ministry

but ended up suffering in wilderness 40 years. After 40 years Moses saw the burning bush had an encounter with God in the ASKing. God asked him to take off His shoes ---- > His past experience needed to be removed. God sends him from here to fulfil HIS PURPOSE. Prayer is not about need but purpose of God POWER OF GOD RECOVERED – The curse over the people can only be broken by the power of God. Moses, in the power of God, went back to Egypt and in the power of God broke the bondage which held the people of God and got the people set free. The prophetic work of ASKing is revealing the power of God which is able to set the captive free. PRESENCE OF GOD RECOVERED –providing hope of God. Ministry is not reputation but His presence. The manna fell where the cloud of His presence was . Mary & Joseph left Jesus in the temple and for three days they went without him but did not recognized they did have him or missed him . Until they ASKed where is he? PROMISES OF GOD RECOVERED – ASKing reveals God's promises over our lives , church and nations. These promises become real in the ASKing. PRAISES AND WORSHIP TO GOD RECOVERED – ASKing restores praise & worship to God. The Father God is glorified in our ASKing. TIMING OF GOD RECOVERED – When you do not understand the season you waste the grace of God given for that season. I Chronicles 12:32: men who knew season and knew what ought to be done. II Cor 6:1-2 Daniel 9:1-3. We need to ask for the right timing for us to ASK. RIGHT STRATEGY RECOVERED GOD – reveals the right strategy in the ASKing. The right strategy does the following: correct the past/history; make history; shape the future.
