Bishop Kennedy is inviting all Catholics their families and friends & surrounding parishes, to join as one community of faithful for Carols in the Cathedral Friday 11th December 2015 - 6pm.

Special choir needed from the parish….. practice in Cathedral Saturdays 11am. Men especially needed for the parts…we need a big effort for this parish gathering Friday 11th December 2015…

Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament 12.00 noon…. We are looking for strong support across the generations in the parish….our parish families, our Schools, St Vincent de Paul, Catechists, LOM, CWL, CWC, Exmins, Servers, YCAG, Finance Council, Parish Council, RCIA, Choir etc…. ALL of US …we come together as the Community of the Faithful giving THANKS for Blessing received over the past year, and praying God’s blessing upon our lives as Catholics for the next twelve months… Please come and spend some time in the Real Presence of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ resting awhile in His company…..

…we remember deceased relatives, friends, and benefactors…we try wherever possible to visit and tend the graves of family and loved ones. Masses for the repose of the souls of the departed are offered during the month of November…it is a special time to pray for the dead.

FIRST RECONCILIATION 2015 …The

Sacrament of First Reconciliation was celebrated last Wednesday in the Cathedral. A big thank you to everyone who was involved in ensuring it was a special day that the children will remember for the rest of their lives. CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS ST MICHAEL’S PARISH, DUNGOWAN Friends and former parishioners are invited to our Centenary celebrations on 6th December 2015, commencing with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10.30am followed by a tree planting ceremony and lunch at Dungowan Hall at 12.00pm. CELEBRATING THE ADVENT OF LOVE…. Catholic Women Connecting invites all men & women of the Armidale Diocese to an “Advent Gathering” at the Cathedral Precinct on Saturday 28th Nov. commencing with afternoon tea at 3.30pm in the Torreggiani Room and including dinner at 7.15pm. Mass in the Cathedral at 6pm. Speakers: Bishop Michael Kennedy, Fr Richard Gleeson, Fr Francis Afu and Mrs Kerry Steller. $20pp, tickets available following each Mass this weekend.
