The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region Christmas Assistance Sign-Ups 2015 Who Qualifies:
(*Applications taken by household only!)
• Households seeking assistance with gifts and/or food for Christmas whose income does not exceed 150% of the 2015 Federal Poverty Guidelines ($ amounts on back). o Household = all individuals living at the address. Identification and income documentation must be presented for all individuals in the household at the time of application. • Locations Served: Harrisburg, surrounding Dauphin Co. areas (Middletown, Steelton, Hershey, etc.) & East Cumberland Co. (Enola, Camp Hill, etc. & only non-New Hope clients). o For information on services in other areas: § Northern Dauphin County (North of Peters Mountain) – call Northern Dauphin Human Services at 717-905-2700. § Perry County – call Join Hands- 717-582-7844 or Bread of Life- 717-567-3333 opt 3.

The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region Christmas Assistance Sign-Ups 2015 Where:
The Salvation Army, 1122 Green Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102 Applicants must have all necessary documentation with them at the time of sign-up in order to complete an application.
What to Bring: 1. Identification: for each individual in the household a. Adults (age 17+) – Photo ID OR Birth Certificate b. Children (age 0-16) – Birth Certificate OR Medical Card
2. Official Proof of Head of Household & Address: Current utility bill or lease (no older than 60 days) 3. Income Verification: for each individual in the household for past 30 days a. Pay stubs, bank statements, unemployment, retirement, pension, child support, Social Security benefits, Welfare benefits, Compass print-out, etc.
4. Gift Information for each child (ages 0-16 yrs): a. 2 gift ideas approximately $30 - $50 in value b. Correct Clothing Sizes – shoe, shirt, pant
Eligibility Requirements: Household income total should not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. Proof of household income is required for registration.
