Christmas Greetings! As we close out another year, Peggy and I would like to say to all our friends “Merry Christmas and may you be blessed in the New Year to come.” I believe the best possible way we can show our appreciation and love towards you is to make the most of every opportunity the Lord gives us. 2016 has been a good year, we have ministered in more churches and our outreaches have grown reaching more people for Christ. I believe 2017 will prove to be even greater as we stretch our faith and step out further in Jesus name!

I am not sure what all 2017 holds, but I have a fresh sense of expectancy. I believe the Lord has given us another window of opportunity to turn our nation to Jesus. While I am pleased with our recent election outcome I know our government is not America’s salvation. I pray for our new president-elect Donald Trump and I encourage you to do the same. I pray that Christians in America will rise up not to complain about the darkness but rather be “the light” in the darkness. It is easy for anyone to complain about what’s wrong or hope that someone new in office will correct it. The truth is, Jesus commanded you and I to be the light. We are the most influential people on the planet when we are walking in the light of Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power! No matter what the political climate is, throughout history Christians have overcome and have been a testimony of God’s love to the world.

I encourage you not to neglect the gift in you, the anointing that is from God that abides in you through Jesus Christ. Let your light shine in 2017. Make it your goal to become even more bold in Christ and to make Jesus known among your family, co-workers, classmates and neighbors. The only hope for American or any other nation to be “great” is to call on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and follow Him. I really have a deep desire to see Christians become all that God has called them to be; for you and I to really rise up and be bold for the Gospel’s sake. We have watched as the world around us has risen up to proclaim an anti-God, anti-Christ way of life. There is only one way to really live and that is in Christ. We can sit back and let the government do what it’s going to do and hope for the best and hope that those who have been voted into office will do their jobs, but even so, that will only accomplish things that are temporary. Only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can change a heart, only the Bible can set the standard for all people to live by. Only the power of Jesus Christ can change a person from darkness to light. We are committed to follow Jesus, make Him known and to help equip others to live the same. Thank you for partnering with us!

Upcoming Upcoming January January 2017 2017 Romania Romania Missions Missions Outreach Outreach We are excited to announce our first “Mission Outreach” for 2017. The last time we were in Romania was April 2015. Peggy and I will be ministering in Romania January 17th thru February 15th. We will conduct Evangelism training (S.O.M.E.) along with special outreaches. We especially love ministering to the young people in Romania, they really get excited about Evangelism. In Romania the cities and villages provide a unique opportunity to reach people with the Gospel. Even in spite of winter weather people still walk to their neighborhood stores and local gathering spots. We will also be working with churches to further expose them to the ministry of Evangelism. Making disciples is key to fruit that remains!

Special Missions Offering! With less than a month away from our departure I would like to ask our Pastor friends, Churches and Partners to please consider sending a “special offering.” We had a great response back in September with special offerings to help with our Vietnam Veterans outreach and your generosity enabled us to do so much! Thank you for helping reach people with the Gospel.

Peggy’s Corner Contending for the Faith Jude verse 3 tells us to contend earnestly for the faith which was delivered to the saints once for all. We are not fighting to get faith, we already have it. Our faith is a gift from God. It is much easier to hold onto something you already have than to try and obtain it. I’ve heard it said you are not sick trying to get healed, you’re healed and sickness is trying get to you.

We are told numerous times in the Bible to hold fast, hold fast to our confession of faith, hold fast to hope, hold fast what is good, hold fast to what you have and hold fast to the Word. Faith holds onto what God has given us. 1Corinthians chapter 12 speaks of some of the gifts God has given us: words of wisdom, knowledge, gifts of healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits and speaking in tongues. There are also the gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. All these gifts are important for us to be strong healthy Christians. We must remind ourselves that God’s “divine power has already given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises.” (2 Peter 1:3-4)
