CHRONOFLITE GMT

After an extended period of non-use, the movement must be set in motion by winding the crown clockwise (CW) in position 1.

Setting the Time:

To set the time, you must first unlock the Winding Crown (7) by turning it counter-clockwise (CCW), then pull the Winding Crown out into position -3- and turn counter-clockwise (CCW). Keep turning the Winding Crown until the hands pass midnight and the date display advances. Then continue to turn the Winding Crown until you set the correct time. This will assure a correct setting of your watch in relation to AM/PM. A second time zone can be selected by means of the GMT/24-Hour Hand (6) which completes one revolution in 24-hours. Its position to the 24-hour markings inscribed on the bezel serves as the secondary timezone indicator. The hands are reset once the Winding Crown is pulled out to position -2- and rotated clockwise.

Setting the Date and 24-Hour Hand: PLEASE BE ADVISED: engaging the Day/Date function when the Hour Hand is between 8pm - 2am can cause serious damage to the calendar gears of the internal movement and such damage is not covered under warranty. 1 Hour Hand 2 Minute Hand 3 Second Hand 4 Date Indicator 5 Universal Time Indicator Bezel 6 GMT/24-Hour Hand
