First clothing distribution in winter of 83/84 at Las Milpas. Clothing distribution continues until present. First food distribution in winter of 83/84 at Las Milpas. Food pantries maintained at five churches in US until present. Medical clinics began in 1994 either bi-monthly or monthly at Las Milpas and Alton by Dr. Brian Smith, elder in Mcallen church. After 2001, medical clinics hosted by visiting mission teams. Relief for families hit by severe freeze of 83/84 winter in colonias of Las Milpas. Flood relief in Hoehn colonia in Edinburg. Food and clothing provided to 120 families. Flood relief in partnership with the Church of Christ Disaster Relief out of Nashville. Providing supplies, bedding and appliances for 600 familes in Rio Grande City and Roma, TX. First housing provided in summer of 1985 to poor families in Las Milpas. Number of houses constructed through 2013 listed below. In 2009 construction of our own mobile clinic commenced; finished in 2010; subsequently all clinics are being held out of this facility SHEET 4
