PRAYER REQUESTS Pray for Mrs. Janet Vernon, wife of Bro. John Vernon, Minister of Children at Miner Baptist, and for Bro. Dean Wallace, pastor of Wyatt Baptist Church and Shining Light Outreach Center, both of whom are recovering from recent surgeries. Pray for the Mexico Mission Trip to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico – for safety in travel, Spirit-filled ministry and good health for volunteers.
A multitude of volunteers made possible a great outpouring of assistance to needy families in the greater Charleston area at the annual Christmas food pantry and clothes closet ministry event on Saturday, Dec. 17. Nearly 400 families received bundles of food items which will feed more than 3,000 individuals.

Nearly 200 people attended the Christmas program on Dec 18 at which 90 children received Christmas presents.
