Curbside Recycling is coming to Tremonton City Residents
Starting on August 1, 2013, Tremonton City will be starting a Curbside Recycling Program for all residents that currently have garbage collection services billed by Tremonton City. The Curbside Recycling Program is optional and for those that want to participate in the program, you do not need to respond and a blue recycling container will be delivered to your home. If you chose not to participate in the Curbside Recycling Program, you must opt-out of the program by contacting the Tremonton City Offices in person, by phone or by mailing the opt-out slip below by July 15, 2013. Recyclable Materials include: * Paper * Newspapers * Magazines * Plastics * Cardboard * Aluminum and tin cans
If you have already contacted the City Offices regarding your desire not to participate in the program you do not need to respond again.
Cost: By participating in the Curbside Recycling Program, $4.50 will be added to your utility bill each month. Timeline: Those participating in this program will receive a blue recycling container within the first week of August. Along with the recycling container, you will also receive a flyer with a calender of collection days that your blue recycling container will be dumped. OPT-OUT SLIP
To OPT-OUT of the Curbside Recycling Program you can call the city office at (435) 257-9500 or by compeleting this form and bringing it into the Tremonton City Offices or by mailing (102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton Utah 84337) this opt-out slip before July 15, 2013.
*** Please be aware this is your CHANCE to opt-out of the Curbside Recycling Program. If you fail to contact the Tremonton City Offices before the July 15, 2013 deadline, you will be enrolled in the program for 1 year.
