• Decide and create a name for the Collection Bin to attract attention. • Ask the students to help you set a target date to aim to fill the Collection Bin. Use the poster to set dates.
• Elect a student or students to keep track of all waste collected. What other tasks will be their responsibility? (They can use the poster to track their class’s progress. Each time the Collection Bin is filled and the contents shipped to Terracycle, they can mark it on the poster). • Brainstorm ways to engage other classes to create their own collection bin or contribute to yours. • Decide on the best location for the Collection Bin. • Suggest that all students depositing oral care waste in the Collection Bin will receive a “BSBF Power Recycler” Reward Sticker.
