 

A few pieces (2-3) of tracing paper 8” - 10” square. The exact size is not important, but to save time, your pieces should be trimmed into squares prior to class. The size of your tracing paper square will be the approximate size of the main design motif in your quilt. You should be able to find tracing paper at any office supply store if you have trouble locating it elsewhere. Tracing paper works best. Velum or parchment paper can be too brittle and will not hold up to the repeated folding you'll do when creating your design. Pencil and eraser – and maybe bring a sharpener or extra pencils in case your lead breaks Blank paper for practice doodling and taking notes

PRE-CLASS PREP 

Trim your pieces of tracing paper so that they are square.
