BERNINA EMBROIDERY SOFTWARE V6 CLASSES Bernina V6 Software Basic Classes – #1 & #2 – Free with purchase of the Software. Please contact me – Bev Nelson – 620-532-1131 if you haven’t taken both of the Free V6 Software Basic Classes to set up a date. Please have your software & the SP1 patch from the Bernina USA website installed before you have the classes. Supplies for all V6 Computer classes: Your Computer, computer power cord, mouse & mouse pad, Dongle, a highlighter & note-taking supplies. You will have handouts to take home. Min students – 3, Max– 6. Basic V6 Software Part 1 In this first Basic class we will set up your computer for using the Software, Maintaining your Software, & Screen Calibration. We will explore some of the Basic tools that you will use a lot. Learn how to open a design & where to save them. Learn how to go back & find those designs that you have saved. Create outlines, fill stitches, change stitch angles, reshape, add underlay stitches  Thursday, June 20, West 9-12 V6 Corel I have divided up the Corel – Art Canvas part of the Software into 4 different sections and we will look at the tools available for creating more designs to use with your embroidery. We will start and work down thru the different tools on the left hand side of the Art Canvas screen. It would be best to take these 4 classes in order, but it is not absolutely necessary that you take them in order. Basic V6 Software Part 2 We are going to explore more tools in the Software. Finding & opening a design from your computer, USB stick or CD. Re-sizing, Rotating deigns, & looking at individual parts of the designs. Color Film & the Color & Thread Chart. Explore how to Clone, select only one part of the design Polygon Select tool, add text to the design & more. Explore the Wreath & Kaleidoscope tools & the Alignment tools. Print a template to use as guide to place your embroidery. Auto Digitizing & Magic Wand Digitizing. Hatched in Africa! June 22nd Mark June 22 as a time to come to Midwest Sewing & Vacuum downtown store. Hatched in Africa will have a trunk show at both 9:00 & 2:00. Santi & Peter will be showing all her new designs. One of the things that is most requested at Midwest is to learn how to multihoop. Santi will be giving us a demo on how to accomplish that. Please make sure you call downtown and sign up for the time you want. Spots will be limited so make sure you call soon. The 9:00 showing will last until about noon and the 2:00 will last at least until 5:00. These are the most beautiful embroidery designs anywhere. You won't want to miss this. We will have some door prizes to win as well as a free CD with their designs to take home. Make a list of what you have so you can make an easier design choice. They are so much fun to do.
