Clay Yeager Policy Director for Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development Clay Yeager has served the interests of at-risk families and communities for more than 40 years in the public, private and non-profit sectors. He is currently Policy Director for Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development and serves as Senior Consultant to Evidence Based Associates. Yeager has been a Chief Probation Officer in Pennsylvania, served as Director of the Center for Juvenile Justice Training & Research and was appointed by Governor Tom Ridge as the Executive Director of the Governor’s Community Partnership for Safe Children. In 2001 he was named by Ridge as the first Director of the newly created Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2005 Yeager was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Nurse-Family Partnership, one of the nation’s most prominent and successful evidence-based prevention programs. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Criminal Justice Association from 1996-2002.
