Cutting Directions: Fabric ‘A’: Cut four 3½” squares. Fabric ‘B’, ‘C’ & ‘D’: Cut two 3⅞” squares. On the wrong side of the ‘B’ squares, draw a pencil line diagonally across each square. These are your cutting lines. On both sides of the cutting line, draw a pencil line a scant ¼”. These are your sewing lines. Fabric ‘E’: Cut four 3½” squares. Plus cut two 3⅞” squares. On the wrong side, draw a pencil line diagonally across each square. These are your cutting lines. On both sides of the cutting line, draw a pencil line a scant ¼”. These are your sewing lines.

General Directions: Use ¼” seams throughout. It is best to use a ¼” foot on your machine. Use a dry iron (no steam). Assembly directions: 1) -Take a 3⅞” ‘B’ square and put it on top of a 3⅞” ‘D’ square. Sew along drawn sewing lines. Cut along drawn cutting lines. Repeat until there are 4 of these 2-coloured squares. Sew into the centre pinwheel square. Square to 6½”.

Sew into a pinwheel:

2) -Place a 3⅞” ‘E’ square on top of a 3⅞” ‘C’ square. Sew along drawn sewing lines. Cut along drawn cutting lines. Repeat until there are 4 of these 2-coloured squares. Sew a 3½” square to the right side.
