Clean Parsonage Checklist A copy of this goes to the SPRC/PPRC Chair, so he/she may go through the parsonage to verify that the parsonage is clean and ready for the new minister to move in. Retain a copy at the church. Return a copy to the District Superintendent by June 29th 2016 I.

Responsibilities of the Church When there is a change in pastors, the outgoing pastor is responsible for leaving the parsonage in a clean condition. The charge shall be responsible for the costs of heavy cleaning and repairs such as cleaning carpets and draperies, washing of windows, painting, repairs, maintenance of shrubbery and cleaning of grounds, and removal of trash. Utilities shall be in the name of the church. Responsibilities of the Pastor GENERAL CLEANING OF THE ROOMS

Clean all woodwork, doors, door facings, baseboards, railings, etc. Clean all dirty spots on walls Clean any ceiling fixtures Clean and dust all furniture Vacuum all upholstered chairs and sofas, including cushions Clean and dust all shelves, cabinets, drawers, and behind drawers Vacuum all carpets Clean wooden floors All pet damage properly handled or billed to pastor

KITCHEN If any appliance is not working properly, please notify Trustees or Parsonage Committee Clean stove outside, around and under burners Clean any drawers Clean stove hood, especially grease filter & fan Clean oven Clean refrigerator outside and inside Clean freezer and if deep freezer, thaw and clean and turn back on Clean all cabinets inside and out Clean all shelves Clean all counter tops Clean sink Clean floors, especially corners and kick space under counters Clean dishwasher

BATH Clean toilet inside and out Clean lavatory Clean tub and/or shower. If sliding door, clean track. If curtain, replace. Clean medicine cabinet inside and out Clean vanity cabinet drawers, shelves, and counter top Clean mirrors

BEDROOMS AND LAUNDRY If any damages or not working properly, please notify Trustees or Parsonage Committee Vacuum mattress and box springs Clean washer inside and out Clean outside and clean lint filter Wash/Vacuum floors

GARAGE AND YARD Clean and sweep garage Clean any excess oil drips in garage Move or discard any items that don’t belong to parsonage Leave lawn in good shape Remove all trash from yard
