HINTS FOR A HEALTHY SPRING with the Rev. Deacon Bob Serio, MD
Well, flu season is almost over but not quite. Don’t give up your diligence about potentially infected persons and keep your hand sanitizer handy. As the weather gets warmer and we want to get out more, be careful not to overdo with the yard cleaning and gardening. You have plenty of time to get those winter muscles back in shape. Now would be a good time to get those walking shoes cleaned off and begin a gradual exercise program. If you are prone to spring allergies, it may be time to get back on your allergy medication. I hope everyone has a joyous Easter season. Retired Clergy Transitions in the Diocese of Alabama – January-March, 2018.
DO THIS, REMEMBERING ME: The Spiritual Care of those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, was written in 2016 by the Rev. Colette Bachand-Wood, a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. If you did not receive a copy of this powerful book last year at the Retired Clergy and Spouses summer retreat, Pat and I have a few free copies left for sharing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ HAPPY HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SEASON….
