“Finding Your Place” After reassessing with those of you who have attended Clergy Spouse Days in the past, we are trying a different format which we hope will be meaningful to you. Clergy Spouse Day is your time – and it is tailored to provide the richest experience for you. We believe that can best be achieved by using a small group format to enable sharing time together. “Finding Your Place” is meant to set a framework within which you can discuss with and learn from each other regarding a range of issues that confront you and your family in parish living. This might mean finding your place in the church that reflects who you are and your particular passions. It might mean finding your place in terms of meaningful friendships or non-threatening relationships with church members. It could be finding out how to make an oasis for your spouse and children in the midst of the demands of parish living. Prior to Clergy Spouse Day, we invite you to send us any topics or questions which you would like to discuss in your small-group setting of approximately six to seven people. Each small group will gather around those suggested sub-topics for a time of relaxed sharing and support of each other.
