Warm up Bristol Scheme overview

What are we doing in Bristol? •

A multi-million pound contract to provide a dramatic improvement in the energy efficiency of all Bristol residents’ homes.

Climate Energy has been appointed for the next 4 years to visit every property in the city and offer householders an energy efficiency survey

Properties will qualify for incentives to help pay for insulation measures such as solid wall insulation, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation

Householders on lower incomes may also receive help to replace inefficient boilers with new energy efficient models or install

We are using a street by street approach to ensure we contact every home in the city over the next 4 years

2 cycles – first visits carried out by end of 2016 with further visits completed by June 2018

What are we doing in Bristol? (cont.) •

Customers will be assessed and offered either a Green Deal Assessment or an EPC to decide what measures will help improve their homes energy efficiency

Once the assessment has taken place the customer will be given their recommended options and pick what works best for their property

We shall also be offering renewable energy in the form of solar panels with options of how to pay ranging from a free offer to a prefer to pay option

Completing door step questionnaire to confirm engagement at the door
