University of North Florida Camp/Clinic Men's Basketball Coaches Employment Form
COACHES: This form should be completed for all high school, preparatory school, or two-year college coaches that are employed in any capacity at a men's basketball camp. Additionally, note that four-year college basketball coaches are permitted to work only at their own institution’s camps. Bylaw 13.12.2.2 Provisions: Compensation must be commensurate with the going rate for camp counselors of like teaching ability and experience. Cannot be paid on the basis of the value the coach may have because of the coach’s reputation or contact with prospects. Cannot be compensated or reimbursed based on the number of campers the coach sends to the camp. In basketball, coaches may be employed only as a camp counselor, not as a speaker. An individual associated with a recruited prospect cannot be employed or volunteer in any capacity at a men's basketball camp until that specific recruit: 1) enrolls at another NCAA institution; or 2) exhausts his eligibility at UNF.
