Welcome to Adina’s version of the Cloth Carousel. Since I just took the reins on Monday, May 27th, you haven’t seen many changes yet. But, rest assured, my brain is busy planning the changes I want to make. CHANGES??? WHAT??? Yes, I know, no one likes change...but it won’t hurt a bit, I promise...you might even like it. What’s not changing: I will still carry vibrant textiles. It’s one of my favorite things. Lots of batiks, lots of great prints, and a superb color wall. And for you Kaffe Fasset fans...I will continue to carry Kaffe fabrics. AND you can still count on the same great staff. They will continue to pleasantly assist you where ever needed. What’s in the works: MORE!! Jan has been a tremendous help over the past month assisting me in ordering more fabric. New fabric will be arriving each week so please stop by to check it out. There will also be more books, more patterns, more notions...it’s just going to take a bit of time to get it all in here. Don’t see something you want? Please let us know so we can try to get it in the shop. More classes are planned. And not just quilting classes, but beginning sewing, hand embroidery, sashiko, various appliqué techniques, and more. Have an idea for a class you’d like to take? Please let us know and we’ll start an “Interest List.” A new website is also in the works. You’ll even be able to sign up for classes on-line. The new site should be up by the end of the month. In the future? An on-line store where you can make purchases when you can’t make it in to the shop. Most importantly, I want you know this shop is about YOU! I want to carry items that make you happy and satisfy your wants and needs. So please, if there’s something you’d like that we’re not currently providing, please let me know. I look forward to getting to know each of you and discovering your unique talents.
