The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department holds an annual Clothe-A-Child program to help underprivileged children in our city. The event helps unite the community and police by combining our resources to bring cheer to children who would otherwise have gone without. This program not only provides the material gift that makes Christmas special, but even more important it provides an opportunity for our employees to spend the day with the children developing friendships and changing attitudes about the police and our role in the community.
