Credit Card Authorisation Form – NO CASH PAYMENTS ACCEPTED. If the cardholder is not the applicant, please attach a photocopy of the cardholder’s passport or other photo ID with signature. (A fee of £50 for displaying the Notice of Marriage and £50 fee for the Certificate of No Impediment) Notice of Marriage, fully completed and signed in front of a Notary Public in Bulgaria. In the first row, you should include your details exactly as they appear on your passport and in the second row, you should include your future spouse’s details as they appear on their passport. Please note: the Notice of Marriage will not be sent back to you but will be kept in indefinitely in the British Embassy in Sofia as a permanent record of your intention to marry. A photocopy of the details page of your future spouse’s valid passport or national identity document If you are resident in Bulgaria: proof of residence (residence permit) and equivalent documents for your partner. If you are not a resident of Bulgaria: proof that you have been in Bulgaria for at least 3 days immediately before sending your Notice of Marriage and affirmation to the Embassy (e.g. copy of flight information) If you or your partner have been divorced, widowed or previously in a civil partnership, you’ll also need whichever of the following documents if appropriate: a decree absolute or final order a civil partnership dissolution or annulment certificate your (or your partner’s) former spouse or civil partner’s death certificate

If any of your documents are not issued in the UK or Bulgaria, consular staff may need to make further enquiries. Documents that are not written in English or Bulgarian will have to be translated.
