An open letter from Georgia Southern Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kip Drown To my fellow coaches and to our campers and their parents,

I greatly appreciate your interest in attending our Coach Kip Drown Day Camp. Developing young student-athletes into better players, and especially better people, has been a passion of mine for

Again, I appreciate your interest in the camp and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you as we learn and work together this summer. Sincerely,

In my 30 years of coaching I have learned a lot, but one thing that stands out is that it is all about the student-athletes and making sure that they are prepared for life after basketball. The skills they learn on the court can and should be able to translate to their every day lives, and that is something that I feel your student-athletes will feel once they attend our camp.

When I first started in coaching at the high school level in Missouri, I never imagined I would reach this level. It has been a true blessing and I am ever grateful for the relationships I have made along the way, and I look forward to working on new relationships as we continue to build something special here in Statesboro.
