INSTRUCTIONS Coffee Press Cozy Cast on 50 sts. 1st row: (RS). K2. *K2. P2. Rep from * to last 4 sts. K4. 2nd row: K2. *P2. K2. Rep from * to end of row. 3rd row: K2. *K2tog. Leave sts on left-hand needle. Knit first st again. Slip 2 sts off lefthand needle – cable made. P2. Rep from * to last 4 sts. Cable. K2. 4th row: As 2nd row. Rep last 4 rows for Cable Pat until work from beg measures approx 6½“ [16.5 cm], ending on a 3rd row. Cast off. Button tabs: (Make 3). Cast on 11 sts. 1st row: (WS). Knit. 2nd row: (Buttonhole row). K2. yo. K2tog. Knit to last 4 sts. K2tog. yo. K2. Knit 2 rows. Cast off (WS).
Place markers for 3 button tabs: 1st at top, 2nd at bottom and last spaced evenly between. Sew buttons to correspond to buttonholes. Mug Cozy Left Front and Back: With pair of needles, cast on 30 sts. Work in Cable Pat as given for Coffee Press Cozy until work from beg measures approx 3¾” [9.5 cm], ending on a 4th row. Cast off. Right Front: With pair of needles, cast on 14 sts. Work in Cable Pat as given for Coffee Press Cozy until work from beg measures approx 3¾” [9.5 cm], ending on a 4th row. Cast off. Sew Left Front and Right Front tog, securing with 3 buttons spaced evenly between. Ties: (Make 6). With crochet hook, ch 12. Fasten off. Sew one tie to each corner of Back. Sew third tie spaced evenly between two ties. Rep for Right Front. Sew 3 ties to each side spaced evenly between.
