Configuring CAFÉ This is only required the first time you access TM1 Café.
1. Open MS Excel and select the new tab called ‘IBM Cognos’. 1

2. Click the blue icon titled IBM Cognos on the left. Options is activated. 3. Click on Options.
Access Instructions
4. Under Options, click IBM Cognos.
1. Click the blue icon at bottom right corner to view the IBM Cognos Analysis menu.

5. Click Add at the bottom of the window. A pop up box will open. 6. The Datasource Type will default to IBM Cognos TM1.

2. Click the blue folder icon at top right. A pop up box titled Select Package opens. 3. Click the + next to the FPA folder to expand the options available.

7. Type: http://wmhap221p:80 under System URL. 8. Type ‘TM1 Prod’ under Friendly Name. 9. Click Test Connections. The connection is successful if the pop up box shows: “Connection succeeded, server is online.” 10. Click OK to close the Test Connection Box. 11. Click Save to save the updates.
