College Resource Center’s College Scholarship Programs Apply online at https://scholarships.cherokee.org CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship program for Cherokee citizens who are high school juniors or seniors who are taking required general education courses at a college or university while still in high school. VALEDICTORIAN & SALUTATORIAN SCHOLARSHIP (VS) A one-time scholarship program for Cherokee citizens who are high school seniors who have been named as the Valedictorian or Salutatorian. UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship program for Cherokee citizens working toward their first Associate of Arts or Associate of Science or toward a Bachelor’s degree. Must apply for the federal PELL grant at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Applicants living outside the designated service area (see map on reverse side) must be eligible for the federal PELL grant. GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship program for Cherokee citizens seeking their first Masters or Doctorate degree. DIRECTED STUDIES (DS) A competitive scholarship for Cherokee citizens seeking a post undergraduate degree providing financial assistance to students in a specific area of study that is aimed at strengthening the Cherokee Nation government and economy.
