Introduction of new coaches for 2014-2015  Coaching staff: Jon Coleman, Todd Wilson, N Sari, Steve Nashalienas, David Peplinski, KB  Board members welcomed all

Select and Academy Numbers:  Increased number of Academy teams by four  Increased number of Select teams by one  Have added “quality’ of players from other area clubs Goalie Clinic:  Has been well received  Chris Dadian will run clinic again this fall, dates yet TBD  Need to cap number  Should there be an additional charge, even minimal, currently free  Request feedback from Chris with regard to above, to these players really enjoy being goalie?

Tournament Dates for Academy and Select:  Select (U11-U18) = Sport Club set for Sept 5-7, cost 425 dollars/team  Select (U11-U18) = North Shore United set for Sept 2628, cost 425 dollars/team, total of 11 teams  Academy set for Kicker Tourney Oct. 10-12 (U8= 185 dollars per team) (U9, U10= 225 dollars per team)  H.S.Girls State Tourney Sept 27  When does payment take place



Potential Outdoor Practice Area:  Approached by Richards school for club donation towards tennis court renovation, possibility of soccer practice here…details unknown  Will meet with Sean Edy (Business director of school district)  Unknowns: hours of use? lines on court, how to assure availability?

Coaching assignments resolved Current (as of Aug. 5th) rec numbers registered=452, Academy=100. Total 552 25 coaches need to go through licensing by spring Ref money ready for distribution Practice field availability on sign up genius Lessons learned from this registration= open and close registration earlier, dedicated time / place for age group coordinators to complete in day or two Have increased assistance of field management, fields are already lined Korrio needs to be updated after coaches meeting so coaches are able to communicate through this tool

Thanks to Dan and the age group coordinator for organizing teams so early and efficiently. Rec uniforms arrived on Aug. 5th Maximum number of uniforms ordered for roster size, that way coaches have uniforms if add-ons throughout the season Jon Coleman Academy director suggested practice shirts (short and long sleeved), perhaps sponsored shirts could be arranged for the Academy players

Select Director Joe Hill

Space/Storage  Shelly from In-Bounds has proposed the ideas of renting office space nearby. This would include storage space, conference area, and office area for DOC, access to all office needs. Price approx. 400-600/mos.  The club does need storage space for sportswear, equipment and uniform supplies Clinic for Parents  Potential ideas include referee rules, basics for parents, futsal rules  What would be best timing?  

Futsal Update:  Futsal material updated on website  575/team for session 1 if sign up early- date TBD, 625/team if after date-TBD  Futsal brochure updated and will send to Shelly for distribution  Reminder futsal season is now (2) seven week sessions  Added question to registration with regard to team’s futsal experience, this is to assist in team ability stratification  Will need volunteer’s to run clock, sign-up genius created by Jay  Club wishes to run futsal tournament between futsal sessions  Potential entry fee per team 350-375  Teams would have 3 games/tournament  Looking for coordinator for tournament  Discussion tabled until September meeting All Bay All Night:  Lubar field booked for Sunday August 17th form 8am-9pm  Three lions to sponsor t-shirts will sell for 5 dollars  Will raffle off sportswear, soccer balls  Roman candle selling pizza slice, cousins subs for sale  Roman candle looking to partner with club for sponsorship etc.


