Created in 1989, the Cougar Club is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to raise money to provide a positive experience for Averett student-athletes and fans. The activities of the Cougar Club are varied, but are all designed with the student-athlete in mind.

Registration: ......................11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch: ........................12 p.m.-12:45 p.m. Shotgun start: .................................1 p.m. Tournament format Four-player captain’s choice Prizes for teams First place: $400 team gift certificate Second place: $300 team gift certificate Random draw place: $200, team gift certificate. Additional Prizes include closest to the pin on par 3s All proceeds from the tournament benefit the student-athletes at Averett University

Each year, hundreds of Cougar supporters pledge their support of Averett University student-athletes by joining the Cougar Club. Thanks to our loyal supporters, Averett studentathletes have the opportunity to succeed in both the classroom and on the field. In the last year, your generous contributions to the Cougar Club helped our 300-plus student-athletes accomplish: l 5,000 hours of community service projects l A school-record 94 Academic All-Conference honors, three Academic All-District honors and one Academic All-American l Implementation of our new athletics logo on banners and signage, updated mascot costumes and resurfacing of the Grant Center gym floor
