Species Accounts Summary: d

The Common Dwarf Gecko occurs in Puerto Rico and many islands to the east, including Piñeros Island, 1,2 Vieques Islands and its keys, Culebra Island and its keys . S. macrolepis is the most common and widely distributed of all the species of sphaerodactylus and specimens have been found in the Central Mountain 1 Range at 2,800 ft., Boquerón, Susúa, and Playa de Ponce . They feed on collembolans and other 3 invertebrates .
