Christians: America’s Greatest Resource Deuteronomy 4:9 “Be on guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you don’t forget the things your eyes have seen and learned. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren.” Moses gave these final instructions to the Israelites just before they entered the Promised Land. These same instructions apply to us today to live lives of integrity, to be obedient to teach and make known to our families, neighbors, friends and to everyone God’s amazing love, His salvation and His mighty works. Are you capable of doing this? YES, YES you are more than conquerors! Always remember YOU + GOD = ENOUGH!!!

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing, Pastor Mike

From the Pastor Search Committee

As we continue the process of contacting and researching prospective pastor candidates, the Pastor Search Committee asks for your continued patience, understanding and prayers. The Lord tells us to seek and we shall find and to wait on Him. The leadership of the Holy Spirit of God is key because we must not forget that we are seeking God’s man, not ours...we are seeking His choice, not our own personal preference. We feel your prayers and encouragement. The search committee is a unified one, and we believe that our church body is unified as well. God bless you for the love you have for the Lord Jesus Christ and His church. Our prayer is that by God’s grace and wisdom that we will be able to present a new pastor for Wrightsboro Baptist Church soon. Chairman, Billy Fowler, Proverbs 3:5-6 Tr ust in the Lor d with all thine hear t; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.

fall backward Don’t forget to set your clocks back before bed on Saturday, November 4th.

Minister of Students “One of the characteristics about God that separates the Christian faith from other religions is that our God pursues us.” Michael Youssef All of us love it when someone pursues us. This brings back good memories of when Alisha and I were dating. She pursued me at first and, when I realized that she was God’s gift to me, I began to pursue her with everything I had. Student Ministry is a time when many of our youth experience God pursuing them relentlessly. One key element of the pursuit, the one factor that determines success or failure, is the surrender of the one being pursued. Many of our students are at this point in their lives. Will they surrender to God’s pursuit of them? This may involve salvation, forsaking of sin, or willingness to respond to the call of ministry. Keep praying for the students, our leaders, and for mighty works of God to be done in all of our lives. Acts 19:11-20 Pastor Stuart

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing…Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name, For the Lord is good…” Psalm 100:1-2, 4-5a Think about the last time you entered the Sanctuary for worship. Did you enter with burdens on your mind, grumbling or complaining about something, thinking about your plans for lunch? What if we were to enter the building singing, shouting and praising God before the worship service had even begun? Honestly, some people may think we were crazy! However, if we have spent time with God privately...reading His Word, praying, praising Him...this public expression of praise is a natural overflow. As Pastor Scott Yuka puts it: “God is full of joy. When we are full of God, we are full of joy that cannot be contained. The key to joyful expressions of public worship is our private meetings with Him.”

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving! Peggy

Thank you so much to everyone who works in, prays for and supports our children. You are all truly wonderful! Children’s Ministry will be kicking off our Lottie Moon Christmas sale on November 24th. We will be adding to the nativity set that the kids made last year. This years piece will be an angel and star! We will be selling them during the month of December, while supplies last, to raise money for our Lottie Moon Offering. Be sure to get yours early and help our children get involved in missions! Blessings, Leslie

HANDBELL CHOIR If you would like to become a part of our Handbell Choir, practices are Mondays at 6pm in the Choir Room. Any questions, see Peggy.

O.C.C. KICK-OFF November 12th Please be sure to return your filled shoeboxes by this date.

ONE CALL NOW is a tool to make church-wide announcements for our church family. However, we need your help in order to be consistent in making these announcements. In the event of a death or funeral arrangement, it is necessary for the immediate family to notify the church staff or deacon chairman asking for this to be announced, and to provide the appropriate information. Again, we want to be consistent and accommodating to all our church families. Thank you!
