E R GON I C ® M I X C ON TRO L: S MARTER PE R F ORM AN C E TH ROUGH TECHNOLOGY With exclusive Ergonic® Mix Control (EMC), both Pro and Bridge Maxx Series mixers deliver the full power of technology, from the batch plant to the jobsite, for efficient, high-quality performance on every project. EMC is smart and capable – and fully programmable to suit your specific needs. It can operate in either a manual or automatic mode. The control seamlessly balances engine speed with hydraulic pump output to achieve the optimum drum speed, reducing drum wear and saving fuel. Minimum and maximum drum speeds are programmable to batch plant preference. The user selects the drum speed, and EMC does the rest. Guesswork is eliminated with a display that shows actual drum speed at all times.

Drum speed is limited to 1 rpm when the vehicle is traveling above a specified speed limit (adjustable from 5 to 10 mph), improving highway safety and preventing accidental discharge. A manual mode lets skilled operators exert the direct control they’re used to, while programmed interlocks make sure the mixer always operates safely and efficiently. The closed-loop drum control constantly and precisely monitors drum speed comparing actual versus demanded speed. Fuel economy is maximized by keeping PTO speed to the minimum required under any condition. A dash-mounted monitor shows key operating parameters along with warning lights and alarms. The ergonomically located joystick and illuminated pushbutton controls are at the driver’s fingertips and easy to operate.

The tubular pedestal base frame of the Pro and Bridge Maxx Series provides strength, lower weight and better load distribution, while an enhanced high-strength tubular ladder subframe design on the Bridge Maxx Series resists torsion for a more stable truck. This construction uses fewer weldments, reducing cost and enhancing parts interchangeability.

Fully hydraulic control enhances reliability and reduces maintenance. Hydraulic system temperature is continuously monitored and heated or cooled for optimal lubrication, oil life, and efficiency.
DURABLE DRUM

Made from AR 200 steel, the drum has a 1/4-inch-thick one-piece pressed and dished head 78 inches in diameter. The drum body is 3/16-inch thick with one-piece pressed blades and weep holes for easy cleaning.

The ZF Ecomix II CML 10 mixer transmission cures dynamic seal failures, has larger bearing surfaces, offers greater tolerance for frame flex, and operates at lower rpm, reducing internal wear. It is structurally stronger yet lightweight, affording you more payload capacity. Designed with an emphasis on serviceability, the motor and gearbox are modular, contain fewer parts, and are easily accessed for service.

Drum, pedestal and hydraulics design allows precise placement for optimum weight distribution: center of gravity forward on three-axles, maximum booster load on four axles, and maximum pusher loads on five axles or more.
