While there are no prerequisites in either training or experience, the exams are designed so that only knowledgeable technicians with practical experience will pass. The ACI Certification Program is conducted by a local sponsoring group. This group (ORMCA) is responsible for scheduling and conducting all review courses and examination sessions, payment of all bills and establishment and collection of all registration fees. The ACI Certification Department assists the local sponsoring group in setting up the program and manages the daily operation of the program. This includes the publication and dissemination of all books and exams, grading, maintenance of certification records and issuance of a certification to successful candidates. A picture ID is required! Who Should Attend: This program is for anyone who tests concrete for strength in the lab. The person must be familiar with test procedures, come prepared to demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform these tests and be dressed for working with concrete. . ASTM C-94 and ACI 301 specifications require that all tests performed by a person whose training is equivalent to ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician Program.
