We recognize that every coach and every athlete is different. This program was designed to be a foundation for you to build off. Be creative and mix up the movements within each drill and the number of sets as you get a feel for what your athletes can handle. Week one is programed to be moderate and each week gets progressively more difficult.
Let's Go! We're excited to help you lead a better program!
MaxOne is excited to partner with Camp Sanderson to bring you an Elite Preseason Conditioning/Agility/Speed Training Program. Camp Sanderson was founded by one of the top basketball strength coaches in the world - Jon Sanderson. Results speak for themselves, and Jon Sanderson has spoken loud and clear with his expertise in the weight room. Since he was hired in 2009, Sanderson has earned significant attention away from the basketball court through his offseason workouts, dubbed “Camp Sanderson” by University of Michigan men’s basketball coach John Beilein. Sanderson’s workouts, which grew in notoriety after Michigan players — most notably now-NBA shooting guard Nik Stauskas — saw noticeable results, have become so popular that players have begun sacrificing their summers to stay in Ann Arbor to train. • Trey Burke gained 18 pounds of lean muscle mass and 4.5” to his vertical jump before being the 9th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. • Nik Stauskas put on 16 pounds of lean muscle mass and 5.5” to his vertical jump in camp Sanderson before being the 8th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. • Tim Hardaway Jr. Put on 20 pounds of lean muscle mass and 4” to his vertical jump before being the 24th pick in the 2013 NBA draft Because of the noticeable development of so many Michigan basketball players, Sanderson has been inundated with requests for speaking engagements, requests for strength and conditioning plans and general inquiries from coaches. That demand from coaches and athletes is what led to Jon’s mission to provide reliable strength and conditioning resources through the Camp Sanderson website.
“I want the Camp Sanderson website to serve as a hub for reliable strength and conditioning information for all, especially the high school and small college coaches and athletes that don’t have their own strength and conditioning coach to turn to.” - Jon Sanderson
