WEEKLY FOCUS TEXT: MARK 9:2-8 When you hear the term "glory," what do you think of? What words or ideas come to mind? Peter and John seem to see glory. What emotions do you think they were experiencing as they witnessed this? Peter suggests to "make three dwellings." He seems to be referring to the Feast of the Tabernacles or Sukkot. Take a few moments to look up Sukkot and what it meant for the Jewish people. Why do you think Peter thought of this in the middle of this event? God is revealing something about who Jesus is to his disciples. What do you think he is revealing? How do you see the full splendor of God in your life? Where has God revealed himself?
