On Monday, May 16, 2016,CFMA will be participating in the “Repair Affair 2016” event organized by People Working Cooperatively and is in need of volunteers. This is a great opportunity to help out and give back to the community. Volunteers will provide repairs and modifications to homeowners who are elderly or disabled. Work includes fixing handrails and installing grab bars to more extensive modifications such as ramps and drywall. CFMA is looking for volunteers to be part of their crew. About PWC Founded in 1975, PWC makes critical home repairs and modifications for very low-income homeowners who are elderly, disabled, or are experiencing other difficulties. We also perform free, energy-saving weatherization services for qualified homeowners and renters. All of our repairs are performed by licensed, trained professionals, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and HVAC technicians. PWC also offers elderly and disabled clients minor home repairs and maintenance services performed by dedicated corps of volunteers. PWC’s programs and services are diverse, but the bottom line is always the same: provide homeowners with a variety of professional repairs and services at little or no cost.
