Dear Church Members, The Search Committee reviewed over 200 resumes, shared multiple emails, and checked references during the last five months. We also made hours listening to sermons, and Skyped candidates as part of the pastor search review process. After seeking God’s guidance, the Search Committee unanimously inviting Dr. Shaun Watson and family in a view of a call on June 5th to be our Senior Pastor. Shaun will preach during the morning service. We encourage anyone interested to attend a question and answer session with Shaun between 4:30 and 5:30. During the evening service, Shaun will give his testimony and vision for Webb City First Baptist Church followed by calling the church into a special business meeting to vote on Shaun as our senior pastor. Absentee ballots will be available in the church office for those unable to attend the meeting. Your calls are welcome by each member of the Search Committee. Please continue to pray for Shaun and Laura and our church as we begin this very important phrase in the life of Shaun and Laura’s ministry and the ministry of our church.
